PSHE and RSE
At Dove Bank Primary School, we believe that PSHE plays a vital role in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, preparing them for life both in school and beyond, and helping them understand the wider world around us. We encourage our children to value diversity and show tolerance, empathy and understanding towards others. Our children are given opportunities to develop their resilience through learning to recognise and manage emotions, solving problems, overcoming challenges and making informed choices. We are aspirational for our children through preparing them to become confident, responsible and active members of society. Underpinning all our learning, we encourage our children to show kindness, respect, consideration and understanding when learning in PSHE lessons.
