Our Provision
At Dove Bank Nursery we provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in which children can learn and develop and ultimately be ready for school. We recognise that every child is unique and learns in their own way and at their own pace and so, adapt our activities and approaches. We can expand and enhance each child’s learning experience in order to develop their knowledge and understanding. Resilience, aspiration and kindness are encouraged from the very start.
We welcome children into school after they turn 2 years old. Children in the nursery are split into 3 key worker groups referred to as Big Butterflies, Busy Bees and Little Ladybirds. The school values of kindness, resilience and aspiration are introduced from the very start and are recognised through special events such as Aspiration Week and Resilience Day, as well as recognised and promoted daily.
