Geography
At Dove Bank Primary School, we believe that geography gives pupils opportunities to think and study like a geographer, and make sense of the world around them. Our children are given opportunities to develop their resilience by observing, investigating and researching the places we learn about. We are aspirational for our children through providing opportunities for map reading, fieldwork, comparison of places and understanding of direction needed to be a successful geographer. Underpinning all our learning, we encourage our children to show kindness, respect, consideration and understanding when learning in geography lessons.
