Art & Design

At Dove Bank Primary School, we believe that Art and Design empowers our children to express their creativity, think critically, and explore the world visually. Our children are given opportunities to develop their resilience through experimenting with unfamiliar mediums, embracing mistakes as part of the creative process, and continuously refining their artwork. We are aspirational for our children by exposing them to diverse artists, teaching technical skills, and challenging them to the best quality of artwork. Underpinning all our learning, we encourage our children to show kindness, respect, consideration and understanding when learning in Art and Design lessons.
