Computing
At Dove Bank Primary School, we believe that computing enables our children to develop digital literacy skills, become critical thinkers and develop an understanding of how to keep themselves safe online in an increasingly digital world. Our children are given opportunities to develop their resilience through the development of key computing skills such as coding and programming, as well as opportunities to create their own digital products such as webpages and podcasts. We are aspirational for our children through our carefully planned curriculum that provides them with rich and varied computing experiences that link directly to the real world. Underpinning all our learning, we encourage our children to show kindness, respect, consideration and understanding when learning in computing lessons.
